How to Change the Default Logon of IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Services
The IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Windows Services are installed to log on under the Local System Account by default. The account under which the Windows Services run may be changed to provide a more secure operating environment by following these steps:
Steps For Changing IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Windows Services Log On Accounts
- Run the Services MMC add in from the Start menu (Windows XP)
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services
- The Services add in will display. Scroll the display downward until the Motorola IMPRES Battery Fleet Management services appear.

- Right click on each of the three services:
- Motorola IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Analysis Service
- Motorola IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Device Service
- Motorola IMPRES Battery Fleet Management Service Proxy
and click on Properties from the context menu. Select the Log On tab:

- Click on the This Account radio button and enter or browse for an account name. Then enter the account password into the Password and Confirm Password text boxes
- Click OK to change the account under which the service runs.
